A financial rewind of 2017
A lot of people can say that 2017 sucked. For me, it mostly sucked because of my unexpected expenses (okay, some might have been slightly expected). Here's a rundown of the bugs that hit my windshield this year.
January
-Part of my tooth broke off. Dental visit ensued.
February
-New phone needed after old one continued to malfunction
March
-Taxes that everyone assured me I wouldn't have to pay
April
-Got a little bit of a break
May
-Laptop repair
-Expensive Car repair
June
-Another pricey car repair, and informed that car will need ~$1k more work sooner or later, depending. Devastation ensues.
July
-Received new car, so my insurance skyrocketed
-Busted flat tire
-Move to PA from KY
August
-Despite repair laptop dies, new one is procured
-New furniture for new apartment (bookcases)
September
-Lock myself out of car over holiday weekend. Only get partially refund from ins. comp.
October
-Get a little bit of a break again
November
-Fraud: the greatest joy in life
December
-Another dental visit with an announcement there will be more in my near future.
There were more than this, too, but this is a compilation of the biggest events that I can remember. Here's to financial freedom in 2018.
